Deerhunter was appointed Purveyors the Royal Danish Court in 2009 – a title of which we are very proud.

The Danish company F. Engel K/S, a family-owned concern, was founded in 1927 and currently managed by the fourth generation. Deerhunter® was established in 1985 as a direct result of the Engel family’s passion for hunting and outdoor pursuits. Six years later Deerhunter® was established in Germany, The Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.
In 1998 Deerhunter® was the first Danish company to launch camouflage patterned outfits for hunting. Since then the company has almost annually launched new types of hunting and outdoor clothing in still more advanced materials, specialized for various kinds of hunting and outdoor pursuits. New camouflage patterns are continuously designed to meet nature and the seasons all over the world. Still in the collections, many of the innovations have proved their long time worth.
At its 25th anniversary in 2011 Deerhunter® was marketed in a number of countries, increasing to 30 countries at the 30th anniversary in 2015.
In 2009 Deerhunter® was appointed ”Purveyor to Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark”.
